Can I Question God and Still Have Faith?

Updated: Feb 11

God can handle whatever you bring to him....including questions.

Let's get right to it. Just before the last breath, Jesus questioned God. Matthew 27:45-50 gives us insight into the last moments of His suffering. Can you imagine having all the sin of the world on you? Probably not. Living life on earth can become perplexing sometimes, confusing sometimes and downright painful sometimes. In Jesus' last moments, we can only imagine the pain of the world's sin, in fact your sin included, was overwhelming. So he asked the question of God, "have you forsaken me"? because God never associates with sin and Jesus could not sense His presence in that moment. But here's the good news, God knew his son would be back in His presence within the next second, therefore, there was no need for an answer. Jesus cried one last time and transitioned home.

You may find yourself questioning God and here is what we want you to know.... God is big enough, strong enough, loving enough and carries more than enough grace with your name on it. If His son could ask the question, so can you. From a practical perspective, how will you get the answers you want and need....if you don't ask the questions.

May God's Grace be with You always!
