We at TransGeneration (TG) Ministry are proud to be holding our 29th Annual Convocation on August 4-7, 2010 (Wed-Sat) at Valley Korean United Methodist Church in Granada Hills, CA (near Los Angeles).

Our theme will be Losing My Religion based on James 1:27.  It is a call for us to put aside a religion devoid of compassion and service to the least in our communities.  We cannot settle for a personalized religion dealing solely with one’s personal sins and destination after death.  We seek to rediscover that God not only saved us but He also has called us to proclaim together the realities of his Kingdom through acts of justice and compassion.

Also, in partnership with Children’s Ministry Initiative and College Initiative, we are excited to invite all leaders serving in Children’s Ministry or with College students to attend our Pre-Conference event on August 2-4 at Valley KUMC where you will receive practical tools to better your ministry in your respective areas.  The guest speaker for our Pre-Conference is James Choung, national director for InterVarsity Asian American Ministries.  A Korean American born in Chicago, James has a rich experience in ministry and a new way of sharing the Gospel that we’re confident will enrich your lives.

God has blessed us with great speakers and seminar presenters, a skilled and Spirit filled worship team … all we’re missing is you.  We urge you to make the time to come, seek God’s heart together, and renew a movement to strengthen and raise up a people for God’s purpose.  Join us in Southern California and be a part of the TG movement!
